Andrea Leon is the Shelter Volunteer Coordinator at SPCA Monterey County. Andrea joined the SPCA in 2022 as a Customer Care Representative and in 2024 began this new position working with shelter volunteers. Andrea grew up in Salinas surrounded by cats and dogs, and did a lot of TNR in her neighborhood growing up. Andrea was previously a ballroom dance instructor and still enjoys dancing in her spare time.

Andrea loves being around animals and helping them however she can. She has worked with local shelters and rescue groups. Andrea and her daughter have two cats, Jelly Bean and Papacito. Andrea loves working one on one with people and is excited to help volunteers feel like an important part of the SPCA team.
