Ashley grew up in the Central Valley and moved to the Central Coast in 2007 to attend CSU Monterey Bay, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, & Policy. 

Growing up, Ashley was always around animals. Her family had three cats and a dog. Ashley's Mother instilled a passion and empathy in caring for animals. Any animal in need could find help in her childhood home and still does today. 

Ashley joined the SPCA team in 2012 as an Animal Care Technician and is now the Clinic Practice Manager. Ashley finds it enriching to educate pet parents on vaccines and spay/neuter services to help keep their animals safe and healthy. 

Ashley and her husband Kyle share their home with their dog named Reagan and two cats, Harper and December.
