While growing up in Redwood City, California with a father as a veterinarian, Jeanne had all sorts of animals and started early in her love for animals and their care.   She completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and spent 30 years in the financial services industry managing large operations while in her spare time riding horses, running several small home farms (she always wanted to be a farmer), and volunteering for several organizations.

Jeanne is grateful to have found an opportunity to combine her management experience and her love for animals at SPCA Monterey County to manage the SPCA Benefit Shop in 2020.  This allows her to use her management skills in an area that she is passionate about while giving back to the community in which she now lives.

Jeanne shares her home with an adopted tabby cat and has frequent visits from her two adult daughters and four grandchildren.  She is also an avid hiker and yard sale junkie.
