Upon graduating from UCSB with a BA in Sociology, Kimberly moved to Carmel in 1989 and started a career in the hospitality industry. During this time, she concurrently had the pleasure of teaching at MPC and serving on a number of local boards.

In 2013, Kimberly left the corporate world to work for a nonprofit and found working to help those less fortunate to be significant and meaningful. In 2022, she joined the team at SPCA Monterey County as the Vice President of Development. From the dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbit, and horse that she has had as members of her family, she knew that being part of an organization that helped make lives better for both animals and people would be nothing shy of magical.

Kimberly and her husband Mark reside in Corral de Tierra with their two adopted pups, Maisie Gray and Bogey. When not hiking, cycling, or playing golf with her husband, Kimberly enjoys entertaining and spending time with friends and family. Kimberly feels blessed to be able to call this special community “home.”
