WHERE TO LOOK FOR YOUR LOST PET

Thank you for submitting a report on your lost pet.  Please see the list below to see which shelter is responsible for sheltering your lost pet. Keep in mind that your pet may have crossed city lines. 

SPCA Monterey County takes in all owner-surrendered pets, as well as all wildlife, horses, exotic pets, and more in Monterey County. Hitchcock Road Animal Services is funded through tax dollars to take in stray pets from the areas listed below, which is often confusing to pet owners and to people who find stray pets. We hope this list helps you understand where to take stray pets and where to start looking for your lost pet.
