Ruff Start pairs shelter dogs with inmates at Salinas Valley State Prison. During their stay, the dogs receive behavior training and loving, compassionate care and the inmates receive unconditional love and so much more in return.
The SPCA collaborates with Meals on Wheels to provide pet food and supplies to Meals on Wheels recipients, helping keep pets in their homes when they are needed most.
The SPCA provides a free, self-service Pet Food Bank to community members who need help keeping their pets fed and healthy.
